DeerValley Bath smart toilets
A bathroom and kitchen brand best known for tankless smart toilets, well rated by retail buyers, but with a thin independent reputation record and policies that do not always agree with each other.

Well-liked products at big retailers, but check the warranty and return fine print before you pay
DeerValley Bath sells smart toilets, regular toilets, vanities, sinks and kitchen fixtures, mostly priced below the big-name brands. Its smart toilets are rated 4.5 to 4.7 out of 5 on retailer pages that we could see.
The product reviews are the strongest part of the picture. The weaker part is everything around the purchase. The Better Business Bureau gives the company a D- and it is not accredited, its Trustpilot profile is unclaimed with a single complaint, and its own pages disagree on free shipping, returns and processing times. Buyers who want a lower-priced smart toilet and will keep their paperwork will probably be fine. Anyone who needs strong after-sales support should read the terms twice.
Right for
- Buyers who want a heated, auto-flush smart toilet for much less than premium brands
- People comfortable arranging a plumber and an outlet near the toilet
- Shoppers who will compare the same model on Home Depot, Lowe's or Walmart before buying direct
Wrong for
- Anyone who needs a clear, single answer on shipping and returns before ordering
- Buyers who want a long warranty on non-smart products, which is one year
- People who rely on the BBB or independent reviews as a trust signal, since they show little positive history
+What it gets right
- Strong retailer ratings. The DV-1S0159 smart toilet shows 4.5 out of 5 from 62 Home Depot reviews with 92% recommending it, and another model shows 4.7 with 93%.
- A real feature set for the price. Heated seat, bidet washing, warm-air drying, auto flush, a night light and a foot sensor are standard on the smart models.
- Detailed specifications. The product page gives flush volume, rough-in, weight, dimensions and trapway sizes, which is useful before you measure your bathroom.
- A longer warranty on smart toilets. The Warranty Policy gives two years on smart toilets and one year on other products.
- Sold through trusted retailers. The same brand appears on Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart and Amazon, so you can compare reviews and return terms elsewhere.
−Where it slips
- Independent reputation is thin and mixed. The Better Business Bureau shows a D- and no accreditation, with seven complaints closed in three years; Trustpilot has one 1-star review.
- Shipping claims contradict each other. The home page says every product ships free in North America, while the cart shows a free-shipping threshold of $1,000.
- Return terms are unclear. Product pages promise complimentary returns and a 30-day trial, but the Return Policy says return shipping may not be covered when you change your mind.
- Refunds can be slow. The Return Policy allows up to 15 business days, longer than many retailers.
- Support complaints exist. The Trustpilot review describes a replacement part that arrived without instructions, and a retail reviewer reports a seat damper with no replacement part.
- Reference prices look inflated. A $999.95 list price beside a $536 sale price makes the discount look larger than it may be.
Weighted for product reputation, warranty and how clear the buying terms are
Product ratings, reputation and clarity of terms carry the most weight, ahead of price and brand story. This is a desk-research score: we have not installed or used a DeerValley toilet, and the retailer ratings below are as shown in search results.
The long version
What the brand's own pages say, what third-party platforms report, and the places where the policies conflict.
What DeerValley Bath is
DeerValley Bath is an online brand that sells bathroom and kitchen products: smart toilets, standard one-piece and wall-hung toilets, bidet seats, vanities, sinks, showers and kitchen sinks. Its store runs on Shopify, lists a Chicago office and a California warehouse, and its products also appear at Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart and Amazon. It positions itself as designer-inspired bath and kitchen products at lower prices than luxury names.
What you get with a smart toilet
The DV-1S0159-V3 is a typical example. It is a tankless smart bidet toilet with a jet-siphon flush at 1.28 GPF, a 12-inch rough-in, a heated seat, rear, feminine and oscillating wash modes, a warm-air dryer, an auto night light and a soft-close seat. It weighs about 87 lb and measures roughly 26.8 by 15.9 by 17.4 inches. Because it has a heated seat and sensors, it needs an electrical outlet within reach, which retail reviewers identify as the main installation challenge.

What buyers report
On retailer pages that we could see, the DV-1S0159 shows 4.5 out of 5 from 62 Home Depot reviews with 92% recommending it, and another smart model shows 4.7 with 93%. Lowe's buyers praise the heated seat, adjustable bidet temperature and pressure, auto flush and sleek look. Complaints are smaller in number: sensitive foot sensors, water pooling under the seat, instructions that lack detail, and variable flush or bidet pressure. One reviewer reported a seat damper failing in under two years with no replacement part sold, while others praised responsive customer service and video help.
Reputation outside the brand's own pages
Independent platforms add little positive history. The Better Business Bureau lists DeerValley Bath with a D- rating, no accreditation, seven complaints closed in the last three years and one customer review. Trustpilot shows an unclaimed profile with a single 1-star review from September 2026 about a replacement part that arrived without instructions. One review is too few to judge the company, but the combination with the BBB record means the independent evidence is thin and leans negative.
Where the brand's own pages disagree
This is the part we would read twice before buying direct.
- Shipping. The home page says every product ships free in North America, while the cart shows a free-shipping threshold of $1,000.
- Returns. Product pages promise complimentary returns and a 30-day risk-free trial. The Return Policy says the brand reserves the right not to cover return shipping on change-of-mind returns, and refunds can take up to 15 business days.
- Eligibility wording. The Return Policy asks for items to be unworn with tags attached, wording that fits clothing more than a toilet.
- Processing time. The Shipping Policy gives 1–3 business days to pack and also 2–5 days for processing, and one sentence about shipping time is incomplete.
- Contact details. Policies use two different email addresses, two US phone numbers and three addresses (Chicago, Fontana and an Aurora, IL returns address).
- Scale claims. The home page cites more than two million North American families, while the About page speaks of thousands of customers.
- Pricing. A $999.95 list price beside a $536 sale price makes the discount look large, so compare the same model at other retailers.
Warranty
The Warranty Policy gives a one-year limited warranty on products and two years on smart toilets, excluding accessories. It covers defects in materials or craftsmanship, and the brand will repair, replace or refund at its option. Scratches are not covered, proof of purchase is required and the brand recommends a licensed plumber and does not pay for removal or installation. Keep the invoice, photos of the install and any support emails.

A good-value smart toilet brand, as long as you read the terms and keep your records
DeerValley Bath earns its best marks where buyers actually use the product. Retail ratings are strong and the smart toilets offer a lot for the money.
Its weak spots are the BBB record, a very thin independent review profile and policies that contradict each other on shipping and returns. None of that proves a problem, but it is why the score stops at 7.0. Confirm the total, the warranty and the return terms for your model before you pay.
Consider it if you
- You want a heated, auto-flush smart toilet at a lower price than premium brands
- You can arrange professional installation and a nearby outlet
- You will confirm shipping and return terms in writing before ordering
Skip it if you
- You need guaranteed free returns or a single clear policy
- You want a long warranty on non-smart products
- You treat the BBB rating and support record as deciding factors
How this review was put together
This is a desk-research review. We have not installed or used a DeerValley product. Specifications, shipping, return, warranty and contact information come from the brand's own product and policy pages (checked 1 Oct 2026); retailer ratings from Home Depot and Lowe's as shown in search results, because those sites block automated reading; reputation from the BBB profile and Trustpilot page. A Consumer Reports listing for a DeerValley smart toilet exists, but it is behind a paywall and we did not read it. We wrote our own text. The product photos come from DeerValley's public product catalogue and belong to the brand; the DeerValley website terms we read contain no clause restricting reuse of images, and we use them to illustrate the products under the brand's affiliate programme, but we could not read the affiliate terms in full. We also made our own facts graphic. If DeerValley asks us to remove an image we will. Trademarks belong to their owners.
Big Time Bikers is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by DeerValley Bath.
