Fire-Parts Gas fireplace parts
A very large gas fireplace parts catalog with model lookups and manuals, but return shipping is yours, original shipping is never refunded and independent reviews are thin.

A deep catalog for fixing a gas fireplace, with return terms that put the cost on you
Fire-Parts.com is an online store for replacement parts for gas fireplaces, stoves, inserts and gas log sets. It is built around finding the right part by manufacturer, model or part number, and it sells brand parts such as SIT, Dexen and Maxitrol.
The store is easy to understand and the range is large: 18,241 products, model lookups and a manuals library. The things to weigh are in the small print. Returns are accepted for 30 days, but you pay return shipping, original shipping is not refunded, used parts cannot be returned and the terms sell products as is. Independent coverage is very limited: we found no professional review of the store, and the only Trustpilot page we could find is for its Canadian storefront, with 21 reviews and a profile that has not been claimed.
Right for
- Homeowners and technicians who know the brand and model of their gas fireplace and need a specific part
- Buyers who want a choice between a genuine SIT part and a cheaper aftermarket equivalent
- People who are comfortable fitting parts or hiring a licensed gas technician to do it
Wrong for
- Anyone who is not sure which part they need and wants a no-cost way to send it back
- Buyers who want a phone-based support line, because support is by email, text and WhatsApp
- Anyone outside the United States and Canada
+What it gets right
- Large catalog. The product page lists 18,241 products across pilot assemblies, gas control valves, control modules, blowers, switches, remotes and more.
- Search by model. The store is built around a lookup for manufacturer, part or model number, and it publishes a manuals library with installation PDFs.
- Genuine or aftermarket. Some parts, such as the SIT 820 series valve, come in a genuine version at $129.95 and an aftermarket version at $89.00.
- Clear return window. The refund policy gives a 30-day return period and step-by-step instructions.
- Several support channels. Support runs by email, text and WhatsApp, with parts questions routed to a separate technical mailbox.
−Where it slips
- Return shipping is yours. You pay to ship a return, and freight-collect returns are refused.
- Original shipping is not refunded. If your order included a shipping charge, the policy says that charge cannot be refunded.
- Used parts cannot come back. Used items are not accepted, and an item that is not in original condition is refused.
- Sold as is. The terms disclaim warranties and say products are provided as is, so a defective part depends on the store's exchange policy.
- Thin independent coverage. We found no professional review, and the Trustpilot profile we could find is for the Canadian storefront, unclaimed, with 24% one-star reviews.
- Fitment is on you. Reviewers of the Canadian store report a recommended part that did not fit and a backordered part with few updates.
Weighted for catalog and fitment help, honest terms, and how buyers are treated after the sale
A parts store lives or dies on whether you get the right part and what happens if you do not. This is a desk-research score: we have not ordered from Fire-Parts ourselves, and it relies on the store's own pages and the limited public reviews we could find.
The long version
What the store sells, how its policies work, and what we could find about its reputation.
What Fire-Parts is
Fire-Parts.com is an online store for replacement parts for gas fireplaces, stoves, inserts and gas log sets. Its About page says the aim is to help technicians, businesses and homeowners find the parts they need to keep hearth products running, and that it ships across the United States and Canada. The contact page lists Plymouth, Michigan, and the return policy sends parcels to a warehouse in Sumas, Washington.
The best-selling page shows 18,241 products. The categories on the home page cover thermocouples and thermopiles, pilot assemblies, gas control valves, control modules, blowers, switches, remotes, appearance and maintenance items, and vent-free and outdoor parts.

What we found about its reputation
We could not find a professional review of Fire-Parts.com, and there is no Trustpilot page for the .com domain. The store's Canadian site, fire-parts.ca, uses the same layout and the same support address, and it has a Trustpilot profile: 4.5 out of 5 from 21 reviews, with 71% five-star and 24% one-star. The profile is unclaimed, and no company replies are shown.
The recent positive reviews describe fast replies and a quick replacement part with no charge after a defect. The negative ones, from 2023, describe a backordered part with little communication, a recommended part that did not fit while the buyer paid return shipping and lost the original shipping charge, and inventory listings that were not up to date.
Best sellers

SIT Side Mount Pilot Assembly, Natural Gas
The top item on the store's best-selling sort is a SIT side mount pilot assembly for natural gas, SKU FP9904, at $84.22. The listing says it includes pilot tubing, electrode, thermocouple and thermopile, and a link on the page leads to the propane version. The next best seller is a SIT top mount pilot assembly for natural gas at $71.96.

SIT 820 Series Millivolt Fireplace Valve
This valve is third on the best-selling sort. The listing describes a quick dropout gas valve for natural gas with 30% turndown (1.6 to 3.5 in. wc) and 3/8 in. inlet and outlet. It needs a thermopile and thermocouple and is not for vent-free appliances. There are two options: Genuine SIT 820 Series at $129.95 and Aftermarket 820 Series at $89.00, which is why the collection page quotes "from $89.00". The page showed 694 units in stock.
Other regular best sellers include a SIT thermocouple at $10.65, a Dexen electronic ignition control module at $74.84 and a Dexen millivolt valve at $104.49.
Returns, terms and support
- Return window. 30 days from receipt, for items that are complete, undamaged and unsoiled, with original packaging, labels, accessories and documentation.

- Support. By email, text and WhatsApp, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Buying advice
Write down your fireplace's manufacturer, model number and fuel type before you search, and use the part number on the old component where you can. Compare the genuine and aftermarket price on valves, keep the packaging until the part is installed and working, and use a licensed technician for gas components if you are not qualified.

Two best sellers worth a look
These two parts show how the store works: a pilot assembly is a single-price part, and a gas valve comes with a genuine and a cheaper aftermarket option. Prices are from the store on 12 Oct 2026.
| Part | Price | What the listing says | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| SIT Side Mount Pilot Assembly, Natural Gas (FP9904) | $84.22 | Includes pilot tubing, electrode, thermocouple and thermopile; propane version sold separately | Best seller number one on the store's best-selling sort |
| SIT 820 Series Millivolt Fireplace Valve, 30% turndown, Natural Gas (FP9901) | $129.95 genuine or $89.00 aftermarket | Quick dropout, 1.6 to 3.5 in. wc, 3/8 in. inlet and outlet, needs thermopile and thermocouple, not for vent-free | In stock (694 listed). Aftermarket option listed as FP9852 |
Match the part to your fireplace's manufacturer, model and fuel type before you order, and confirm whether you are choosing the genuine or the aftermarket variant. Gas work should be done by a qualified technician and checked against your local codes.

A good place to find a part, a store to order from carefully

The caution is what happens when the part is wrong or does not work. Return shipping is paid by you, original shipping is not refunded, used parts are not accepted and the terms sell products as is. With only limited independent coverage, confirm your model and part number carefully before you order.

How this review was put together
This is a desk-research review. We have not ordered from Fire-Parts ourselves. Product details, prices and the best-seller list come from the fire-parts.com store (checked 12 Oct 2026); returns and terms from its refund policy and Terms of Service; company details from its About, Contact and FAQ pages. Reputation comes from the Trustpilot profile of its Canadian storefront, fire-parts.ca, which uses the same site and support address; we found no Trustpilot page for fire-parts.com and no professional review of the store.
