Its brands range from the five-star EPIC SANA and MYRIAD by SANA hotels to four-star EVOLUTION and SANA hotels and three-star SANA hotels in Lisbon.
Guests rate the flagships highly. On Booking.com, Myriad by SANA in Lisbon scores 9.1 from 2,984 reviews and EPIC SANA Algarve scores 9.0 from 1,313. The group offers a direct-booking discount, shown as 5% on the Algarve page and 10% on the Myriad page, and a best price guarantee. The guarantee has tight conditions: a claim within 24 hours, free-cancellation bookings only and a cap on the difference. A recurring theme in guest comments is that rooms in older properties can need renovation and that prices are high.

- Strong locations. Myriad is on the Tagus riverfront next to the Vasco da Gama Tower, and EPIC SANA Algarve is on Falésia Beach with direct beach access.
- Direct-booking benefits. The site shows an online discount of up to 5% and a banner of 10% on the Myriad page.
- Facilities. The flagships list spas, restaurants and parking, and Myriad is described as having a Michelin-starred restaurant at the top of the tower.

- Strict price guarantee. A lower price must be found within 24 hours, for the same room, dates and conditions, and the original booking must be cancellable. Non-refundable bookings are excluded.
- Premium pricing. Rates at the flagships are high, one guest says the location is why the hotel can justify its room price, and another says the hotel is in need of renovation.
- Repetitive breakfast. One reviewer of Myriad asked for more variety on a three-night stay.
- Limited detail on cancellation online. The FAQ lists cancellation topics but the answers did not load for us, so check the conditions shown at booking.
- Hard to generalise. Quality varies between 19 properties in different countries, so one hotel's reviews do not transfer to another.

The destinations menu on sanahotels.com lists 19 hotels: eleven in Lisbon, one in the Algarve at Albufeira, one in Caldas da Rainha, one in Sesimbra and one in Cascais-Estoril, two in Berlin, one in Luanda and one in Chantilly in France. Its brands include the five-star EPIC SANA and MYRIAD by SANA hotels, the four-star EVOLUTION and SANA hotels, and three-star SANA Capitol, Reno and Rex in Lisbon.
On 12 October 2026 the home page showed hotels in Lisbon from €104 and beach hotels from €153, and an online discount of up to 5%.
What guests report
Booking.com is the independent source we could load directly. MYRIAD by SANA in Lisbon scores 9.1 from 2,984 reviews, with a location score of 9.6 and the Tagus riverfront and Vasco da Gama Tower beside it. Guests praise the views, helpful staff, breakfast and the spa on the 23rd floor. Critical comments are few: one regular says the hotel needs a renovation, and another found the breakfast menu repetitive over three nights. A guest also notes that the location is one reason the room price is high.
EPIC SANA Algarve scores 9.0 from 1,313 reviews, with a location score of 9.3 and couples rating it 9.5 for a two-person trip. The listing highlights the beachfront, free private parking, an extensive spa, pools and a seasonal kids' club.
The Luxury Editor's review of Myriad by SANA is also positive, calling the service the stand-out feature, but it is undated and gives no rating, so we treat it as an impression rather than a score.
Booking direct and the best price guarantee
The hotel pages show a direct online discount: 5% on the EPIC SANA Algarve banner and 10% on the MYRIAD by SANA banner, with "up to 5%" on the home page. The Best Price Guarantee page says that SANA guarantees the best price found up to a maximum of 10% on the best available rate on its own site.
To claim, you must find a lower price within 24 hours after booking for the same hotel, dates, room type, payment, guarantee and cancellation conditions, and send the booking number, the link and a screenshot of the final booking step. The original reservation must allow free cancellation or modification when you claim, so non-refundable bookings are not covered. Negotiated rates, vouchers, promotions, special rates and opaque sites such as Priceline are excluded, and for multi-night stays the guarantee applies to the nightly price.
Buying advice
