Sylvox Outdoor TVs
Weatherproof 4K Google TVs for patios, decks and pool areas that cost a fraction of the premium outdoor brands, backed by free US shipping and strong customer ratings.

A well-reviewed, well-priced route to a TV that lives outdoors
Sylvox builds all-metal, weatherproof 4K smart TVs for patios, decks, pool areas and outdoor kitchens. Reviewers describe them as a serious contender at a much lower price than premium outdoor brands, and its Trustpilot score is 4.5 from 449 reviews.
For a covered patio or a shaded deck, a Sylvox is an easy brand to shortlist. Prices start at $1,199 for a 43-inch with Google TV, shipping is free in the contiguous US, and there is a 30-day return window. The trade-offs are the usual outdoor-TV ones (weight, fan noise, modest built-in speakers) plus customer-paid return shipping and a few delivery-damage complaints.
Right for
- Homeowners who want a TV for a covered patio, pergola, deck or outdoor kitchen without a premium-brand price
- Poolside and partial-sun setups where a 1,500–2,000 nit model suits the light
- [object Object]
Wrong for
- Anyone who wants the thinnest, lightest TV, since weatherproof housings are bulky
- Buyers who need perfect delivery odds, because a few customers received damaged sets
- Shoppers who want free return shipping for a change of mind
+What it gets right
- Good value for a true outdoor TV. Reviewers say Sylvox is wallet-friendly next to Samsung’s Terrace line, and a 43-inch Deck Pro 3.0 starts at $1,199.
- Built for the weather. All-metal housings rated IP55 or IP56, with a published operating range of -22° to 122°F on the Deck Pro.
- A model for most spaces. Deck Pro for covered areas, Pool Pro and Pool SE for brighter spots (1,500–2,000 nits), Frameless and Cinema series, from 32 to 110 inches.
- Google TV built in. Streaming apps, Chromecast-style casting and voice control without an extra box.
- Strong customer ratings. Trustpilot 4.5 from 449 reviews (79% five-star) and 4.5 of 5 from 30 reviews of a 65-inch Sylvox at Best Buy, 87% of whom would recommend it.
- Free shipping and quick dispatch. Free to the contiguous US, dispatched within 48 hours, and 2–5 days for sets up to 55 inches.
- Complete ecosystem. Soundbars, wall and ceiling mounts, covers, carts, lift cabinets and RV, marine and bathroom TVs.
−Where it slips
- Heavy and bulky. A 43-inch weighs about 39 lb and a 65-inch about 65 lb; The Ambient needed “a friend or two” to lift its 55-inch.
- Fan noise and static. The same review noted fan noise from the cooling system and static shocks, and that the speakers aren’t the best.
- Delivery damage reports. Some Trustpilot reviewers received broken or damaged sets and some found support slow to answer at first.
- Costly change-of-mind returns. Customers pay return shipping, opened sets may face a restocking fee, and bad packaging can cost 20% of the order.
- Short standard warranty. One year on most sets (two on Cinema Pro, three on commercial displays); two more years is a paid add-on.
- No replies to negative reviews. Trustpilot notes the brand has not replied to its negative reviews.
Weighted for outdoor durability, value and what happens if something goes wrong
Weather protection, value and picture performance carry the most weight, ahead of delivery and support. This is a desk-research score: we have not tested the TVs ourselves.
The long version
What the brand says, what reviewers and customers report, and where the trade-offs sit.
What Sylvox sells
Sylvox makes weatherproof smart TVs built for the outdoors, from 32-inch poolside sets to 110-inch commercial displays. The public product feed lists 128 items: outdoor TVs, RV and 12V TVs, bathroom mirror TVs, digital signage, soundbars, mounts, covers, carts and lift cabinets. The core ranges are Deck Pro (covered areas), Pool Pro and Pool SE (brighter spots), Frameless and Cinema Pro.

Value for money
Price is Sylvox’s main selling point. A 43-inch Deck Pro 3.0 starts at $1,199, a 65-inch Pool Pro QLED 3.0 at $3,499, and a 32-inch Pool SE with 1,500 nits at $1,199. The Ambient, reviewing the 55-inch Deck Pro in 2023, put it at about half the price of Samsung’s Terrace TV and far below specialist outdoor brands.
Built for the weather
Housings are all-metal and sealed, with IP55 or IP56 ratings depending on the model. The Deck Pro lists a -22° to 122°F range and an anti-corrosion, scratch-resistant finish, and the 65-inch Pool Pro QLED 3.0 lists 2,000 nits for bright conditions. Choose by sun exposure: Deck Pro for covered areas, Pool series for more light. The brand’s own figures apply, and we have not measured them.
Warranty, returns and delivery
Standard products carry a 12-month limited warranty covering display defects, core component failures and sealing problems; Cinema Pro gets two years and commercial displays three, and a paid two-year extension is available on the official site. Returns are accepted within 30 days: unopened sets get a full refund including taxes, while you pay return shipping. Orders dispatch within 48 hours and arrive in 2–5 days up to 55 inches (5–6 days for larger), with free shipping to the contiguous US.
What customers and reviewers say
Trustpilot shows 4.5 from 449 reviews, with 79% five-star, praising quality, durability and helpful support. At Best Buy, a 65-inch Sylvox has 4.5 of 5 from 30 reviews and 87% recommend it, with praise for picture quality and sturdy build. Complaints centre on delivery: some sets arrived damaged and a few reviewers found first replies slow.
Trade-offs to know about
Weatherproof TVs are heavy and thick. The Ambient needed help to lift its 55-inch, heard fan noise, felt static shocks and found the speakers modest, so plan on a soundbar. The Ambient review dates from 2023 and covers an older model, and Sylvox has not replied to negative Trustpilot reviews. About a third of listings in the feed show a compare-at price above the sale price, so compare real prices.
